Training New Troops

A domain can train new troops from among its citizens over the course of a month, provided it has appropriate training facilities. At the end of the month, the new units come under the domain's control.

• Time. One month.
• Cost. 1 gp for each XP of each unit created.
• Eligible units. Only humanoid stat blocks of up to CR 1/2.
• Citizens. The domain's citizen count is reduced by the number of new units trained.
• Scarcity surcharge. If the domain's existing troops total more than 5,000 XP per 1,000 citizens, training costs 10 gp per XP instead.
