Encounter Tables

Random encounter tables for wilderness terrain. Civilized encounters are derived from these rolls plus a patrol overlay; see the upcoming civilized derivation rule.

How to use

Encounters resolve in two rolls:

1. Roll on the type table for the current terrain. Roll 1d100 to determine the creature type.
2. Roll on the matching creature table for that type. Use the appropriate terrain column. Roll 1d100 to determine the specific creature.
